Advertising Terms

These Advertising Terms apply to every booking of a Newsletter Sponsor Note, Podcast Mention Package or Corridor Partnership with Pinecurrent, published by VALNET INC. They apply alongside our general Terms of Use.

Booking

A booking is confirmed once we send you written confirmation of the edition, episode dates or six-week window, the price, and the payment arrangement. Prices are those published on our services page at the time of booking.

Creative deadlines

You must supply or approve your note or script wording within the lead time confirmed at booking: at least five business days before a newsletter edition, seven before a podcast recording, and two weeks before a Corridor Partnership begins. Material received after the deadline may push your placement to the next available slot at no additional charge, where one is available.

Approval

Every placement includes one round of review: you see the final note or script before it is scheduled, and we make reasonable wording adjustments you request at that stage. Additional rounds beyond the first may extend your scheduled date.

Make-goods

If we fail to run a placement as confirmed for reasons within our control — a missed edition, a dropped mention, or a late community story — we will either rerun the missed element in the next available edition or episode at no extra cost, or refund the portion of the price attributable to that element. Delays caused by late or incomplete creative material from you are not eligible for a make-good.

Editorial independence from advertising

Advertising placements are clearly labelled and kept separate from our news reporting. Buying a placement does not influence, and is never exchanged for, editorial coverage decisions. The community story included in the Corridor Partnership is labelled as partner content and is written to be factually accurate, but it is not presented as independent news reporting.

Content standards

We reserve the right to decline or request changes to creative material that is unlawful, misleading, or inconsistent with the tone of our publication. We will explain any such decision before your scheduled date.
