Frequently asked questions
Everything we're asked most often about advertising with Pinecurrent.
01About the placements
What exactly is included in each placement?
The Newsletter Sponsor Note is a 50-word note over two editions, the Podcast Mention Package is three host-read mentions, and the Corridor Partnership bundles both plus a community story over six weeks. Full detail is on our services page.
What area do you cover?
Ville Saint-Laurent, Dorval, Lachine and Pointe-Claire, and the businesses along the Trans-Canada corridor between them.
What format is a newsletter note or podcast mention?
The newsletter note is a 50-word block of text inside our weekly email. A podcast mention is a roughly 30-second host read, placed mid-episode.
How long does a placement run?
A newsletter note runs across two consecutive editions, a podcast package across three mentions, and the Corridor Partnership across six weeks.
02Process & scheduling
How do I start?
Send an enquiry through the form on our home page, or call us. We reply with a booking confirmation and next steps.
What happens after I send a message?
Our advertising coordinator confirms which edition, episode dates or six-week window works, and sends written confirmation before anything is scheduled.
How much lead time do you need?
At least five business days for a newsletter note, seven for a podcast mention, and two weeks for a Corridor Partnership.
What does the assessment step involve?
We review your note or script wording once before it is scheduled, so there is a single approval round built into every placement.
03Pricing & payment
What do the prices include?
Copy or script help, one approval round, and the report or summary sent after your placement runs — nothing is added later.
Do prices change with the season?
No. $180 CAD, $495 CAD and $1,050 CAD are the full rate card, unchanged.
What if I need to cancel?
See our cancellation policy and refund policy for the full terms.
How do I pay?
Payment is confirmed and collected once your booking is scheduled; we'll walk you through the method when we confirm the dates.
04Practical
What are your working hours?
Monday – Friday, 08:00–16:30, Eastern Time (ET) — Saint-Laurent.
How do I reach the team?
Email [email protected] or call +1 514-733-1010.
Where is Pinecurrent located?
7405 Transcanada, Suite 100, Saint-Laurent, QC H4T 1Z2 — a short walk from the Du Ruisseau commuter rail station, with street parking available along Transcanada.
Can I visit in person?
Yes, by appointment. Call or email ahead so our advertising coordinator can set aside time to walk through your placement in person rather than by phone or email.
05Coverage, one more time
Ville Saint-Laurent, Dorval, Lachine, Pointe-Claire and the Trans-Canada corridor between them — that's the full extent of who reads and listens to Pinecurrent, and the audience every placement above reaches. We don't sell placements described as reaching beyond that area, and we won't invent a wider audience to make a booking sound bigger than it is.
If your business or organization sits just outside that list but you still think our readers and listeners are relevant to you, mention it in your enquiry — we're happy to talk it through before you book anything.
